    Engineer - Solutions Integration and Testing

    Job description

    Brief Description

    The job holder will be responsible for ensuring quality and timely delivery of customer solutions through integration of all network components and applications/services involved.

    Detailed Description

    • Integrating various solutions components in line with the solution design.
    • Ensuring that deployed solution meet and exceed set quality benchmarks.
    • Participate in project management and communication at all stages of deployment.
    • Thorough documentation of deployed solutions
    • Smooth handover to support to ensure seamless acceptance into in-life.
    • Continuously work with other teams to streamline internal process to improve service delivery
    • Capture and add accurate customer details in all support systems (NMS, CRM etc)
    • Provide customer solution documentation depicting current situation before deployment and after deployment
    • Maintain relevant accreditation and certification
    • Continuous research and training to improve speed, effectiveness and quality of deployment
    • Training in deployment of all new services and solutions

    Job Requirements

    • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering related discipline
    • Accreditation in network or data center services (Minimum CCNP Proficiency Level)
    • 2-3 years experience in planning, deployment and operation of an enterprise or service provider network
    • Sound IP routing and switching skills.
    • Strong relationship building skills.
    • Project Management skills.
    • Software development and integration skills
    • Sound product knowledge of the business’ existing product portfolio.
    • Participation in service improvement initiatives.

    Territory Account Excecutive

    Job description

    Brief Description

    Reporting to the Regional Manager -SME and Enterprise Regional Operations the position holder will meet overall NPS, revenue and acquisition targets for the assigned territory and work with Safaricom Business Partners to retain, develop, manage and expand the customer base and grow revenues.

    Detailed Description

    • Development of plans to achieve set billed revenue targets in the territory;
    • Increase product and Business solutions penetration through cross sell to named accounts, in assigned territory
    • Ensure revenue growth by growing ARPA in the accounts through up sell
    • Achieve the set NPS targets for the Accounts in the territory
    • Ensure achievement of set churn targets for assigned accounts
    • Develop strong relationships with customers at CxO to maintain ongoing revenue stream
    • Ensure all accounts are managed through well thought out Account Development Plans
    • Monitor and supervisepartner sales teams’ to achieve their assigned targets and ensure they have healthy sales pipelines to achieve the revenue targets;
    • Performance review with assigned Partner sales teams within the assigned territory and documentation of the same;
    • Maintain timely and 100% accurate territory reports on Partner sales teams review, competitor intelligence, Sales performance and all information relevant to the assigned territory;

    Job Requirements

    • Honors degree in Business Administration/Bachelor of Commerce degree from a recognized university;
    • Must have 3 years’ experience in managing dealers or an indirect channel preferably in FMCG;
    • Experience in managing indirect channel in a telecoms environment is an added advantage;
    • Strong business Acumen;
    • Team player with pleasant outgoing personality & resilience
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proactive, confident, energetic & with ability to work under pressure.

    HOD E-commerce

    Job description

    Brief Description

    Reporting to the Director - Enterprise Business Unit , the position holder will be responsible for developing, driving and implementing the e-commerce strategy to maximize sales, with a persistent emphasis on customer acquisition, conversions and maximizing average order value.

    Detailed Description

    • Acts as a mini-CEO for the e-commerce business for Safaricom
    • Lead the whole e-commerce department including marketing, merchant relations, customer support, product managers and other support functions
    • Ability to define product pricing, communication and selling strategy
    • Work closely with all departments like technology, finance, risk, assurance to define product strategy and ensure alignment to corporate strategy
    • Work closely with HR team to recruit the top e-commerce talent and build a passionate startup-like culture for the e-commerce unit
    • Ability to understand the African market, culture and competition and come up with appealing value proposition for the customers
    • Ability build fit for the future passionate teams with great team empowerment and support
    • Ability to identity and work closely with the seller community to provide customers with relevant products.
    • Work with products owners and technology function to build future fit solutions to compete locally and globally
    • Have deep knowledge in e-commerce product strategy, product recommendation based on AI, customer driven user experience, product execution and offline and online merchandizing.
    • Experience in digital marketing and sales and ability to increase customer engagement on MASOKO.

    Job Requirements

    • 10+ years in E-commerce domain with strong leadership experience
    • Commercial lead with 8+ experience in leading talent towards delivering customer needs
    • MBA or masters in management is recommended
    • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing and sales
    • Management skills in leading agency, customer support, merchant, logistics, delivery teams.
    • Experience in e-commerce platforms like magento or similar ones is a plus
