    Transport Officer II

    Job Description

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Supervise drivers in their day today duties
    • Oversee booking and scheduling of vehicles
    • Allocate vehicles and duties to drivers
    • Prepare Maintenance/ Repair schedules for vehicles
    • Ensure all vehicles are kept in good condition
    • Analyze work tickets and ensure compliance
    • Receive and compile motor vehicle statistics for management use
    • Manage motor vehicle file registry and maintain motor vehicle fleet register
    • Coordinate the ordering of new vehicles
    • Vehicle insurance and licensing

    Requirements for Appointment

    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

    • Diploma in fleet management/ Motor vehicle engineering
    • The officer must have served in the grade of transport officer 3 for three years
    • Must be computer literate
    • Show ability and merit as reflected in the work performance and results

    Senior Procurement Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities.

    • Preparation of budget for the recurrent and development vote.
    • Preparation of quarterly expenditure forecast as basis for discussion with the treasury for release of funds.
    • Monitoring of expenditure and project including programme implementation on a periodic basis and ensuring

    Principal Procurement Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • The Principal procurement officer is responsible to the clerk through head of finance and accounting services for advice on county Assembly supplies management and administration duties
    • Responsibilities involve: formulation of policies and regulation for efficient management of the procurement services in the public sector
    • Advice departments on statutory requirements and storage
    • Handling and distribution of supply materials and
    • Overall administration and management of supplies in the county assembly Board

    Requirements for Appointment

    • Served as senior Principal Procurement Officer or similar position for at least 3 years ii)
      Bachelors degree in Procurement, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration or Equivalent.
    • Relevant Masters degree will be added advantage
    • Post graduate diploma in procurement/ supplies management.
    • Demonstrated outstanding qualities of leadership, co-ordination and organizations at top management level. Requirements for Appointment.
    • Ordinary /higher national diploma in computer science. Hardware, network administration, maintenance or software support.
    • Shown merit and ability as reflected in the worth performance and result.
