    Technical Sales Executive

    Our Client one of the leading  East Africa’s industrial chemicals manufacturer is currently seeking to fill the role of a Technical Sales Executive.

    Duties

    • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
    • Handle customer enquiries in a professional manner, setting up customer meetings in order to develop and expand our customer relationships obtaining “approved supplier status”
    • Promote and the local brand to the existing customers and develop new customers
    • Provide customers with products and services to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
    • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products & merchandising techniques
    • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
    • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

    Job Qualifications

    • Degree / Diploma in Chemistry related field
    • 4years Sales experience in the industry
    • Team player
    • Excellent  closing and negotiating skills
    • Proficient in MS office

    FMCG Sales Team Leader

    Our Client a Leading FMCG Company is seeking to fill the role of Sales Team Leader to drive sales productivity & revenues; manage sales accounts; increase and align distribution network & build the brands.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Develop and drive sales activity to potential market.
    • Accountable for achieving budgeted sales volumes, prices and profit margin & sales orders.
    • Monitor all sales transactions and review all customer responses for all orders and payments.
    • Implement sales and distribution plans to meet customer requirements.
    • Providing market intelligence and competitor activity reports
    • Handle customer issues and enquiries swiftly
    • Monitor sales in selected markets to ensure targets and objectives are met.
    • Ensure optimal availability of products over long and short term.
    • Ensure the company’s products are the market leader in both sales and visibility
    • Prepare the annual account plan in line with the national account plan strategy and implements the sales strategy.
    • Contributes to the development and implementation of local marketing strategies
    • Creation and implementation of action programs for and with the accounts to improve the performance
    • To Request SKU portfolio changes based on outlet / channel
    • Manage all sales related data in order to provide the Sales support team with accurate reporting with integrity
    • Draw insight from quantitative data and transform in qualitative reports

    Requirements

    • Degree in Business, Sales & Marketing or related field
    • 5 Years B2B FMCG Sales Experience (Institutional sales/ Key Account Management/ RTM)
    • Sound understanding of the FMCG Industry
    • Good Negotiating skills
    • Sound Knowledge of Business/Financial, concepts and Principles
