    Partnerships Representative

    Job description

    Role Overview

    We are hiring a Partnerships Representative in Kenya to join our fast growing team. This position reports directly to the local Team Leader and CEO.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and optimize the existing customer portfolio
    • Acquire new customers through prospecting actions [phone, email, meetings etc]
    • Define, propose and lead the execution of the commercial strategy in order to develop business
    • Work with Operations and various support departments to provide appropriate solutions to customers
    • Connect with customer to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction
    • Explore partnerships with service providers of interest to the company
    • Carry out regular market surveys and feedback sessions
    • Prepare daily KPIs for regular reporting
    • Promote the company in the market during promotion operations

    Desired Skills & Experience

    • Minimum 2-4 years of sales experience in Kenya
    • Researching, contacting, and following-up with institutions [both small and large]
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Comfortable working with both local and international remote teams
    • Strong organizational and computer skills
    • Very comfortable using software to conduct work processes
    • Results-oriented and keen to solve problems
    • Prefer previous experience working with startups or in the education industry

    Enrollment Associate [Telesales]

    Job description

    Role Overview

    We are hiring a Enrollment Associate (Telesales) to join our growing sales and marketing team in Kenya. You will be working from our space in Nairobi, reporting to our in-country Team Leader and CEO. This is a great role for someone who wants to stretch their capacity to a broader scope, with lots of room to grow, and with direct impact on Educartis’ B2C customer acquisition.

    As an Enrollment Associate you will be responsible for growing new student enrolments by facilitating prospective students through the course application and enrolment process on behalf of our partner universities.

    Using your consultative sales techniques you will successfully qualify and offer solutions based on their individual needs and goals. You will enjoy building relationships with prospective students from the initial enquiry stage through to becoming an enrolled student.

    Specifically, the Enrollment Associate will be responsible for the following:

    • Respond to student inquiries related to courses and institutions represented by Educartis
    • Facilitate enrollment process with learners, taking them through (and supporting them) through each stage of the enrollment funnel
    • Liaise with the partner education institutions to share progress
    • Tracking all performance KPIs in the Educartis sales CRM
    • Reporting KPIs on a regular basis to the Kenya Team Lead and CEO
    • Achieving monthly sales targets and performance KPIs
    • Advise management on how to optimize processes based on student feedback

    Desired Skills & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Communication or related field.
    • At least 1-3 years of sales and/or call centre sales experience
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills, confident in interaction with peoples from all ages of a variety backgrounds
    • Experience working with remote teams
    • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Persistent and results-oriented
    • Patient and able to handle customer rejection
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Self-starter!

    Preferred

    • Experience with Pipedrive or another CRM software
    • Experience in higher education and/or university admissions and recruitment
