    Business Development Manager, Sales

    We are looking for a Business Development Manager, Sales, to expand SureGifts partnerships across the Market. Our Ideal candidate has a strong local network and passion for sales. This is an exciting opportunity to drive corporate sales and partnerships across East Africa.

    Responsibilities:

    • Passionate and knowledgeable about sales, deal-closing, brand reputation, and relationship management.
    • Represent SureGifts on the front lines with potential customers (retail and corporates) and partners.
    • Pitch Suregifts suites of products, adapt them to client’s needs, and respond to client’s feedback.
    • Proactively push thinking around product partnerships and strategic initiatives.
    • Stay on top of market conditions regarding products, product updates, service offerings, new technologies and competition.
    • Conduct research to identify and validate new markets and customer needs.
    • Scope/design approaches to capture business development opportunities.
    • Integrate customer and partner product needs and contract requirements with support of internal team of Product Managers and implementation specialists.
    • Close new business deals in target sectors by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts.
    • Communicate with partners and customers on a regular basis and respond to specific queries.
    • Responsible for achieving strategic account targets.
    • Provide regular pipeline reports, forecasts and activity.
    • Assist in financial planning and analysis.

    Requirements:

    • 4+ years work experience in technology solution sales or business development.
    • University Degree.
    • Excellent written and verbal English and communication skills.
    • Time and project management skills.
    • Strong relationship and influencing skills.
    • Successful track record selling new business and products in emerging markets.
    • Technical savvy -- able to easily interact with software developers, product managers and solutions architects.

    We are looking for a Business Development Manager, Merchants, to expand SureGifts partnerships across the Market. Our Ideal candidate has a strong local network and passion for sales. This is an exciting opportunity to drive merchant acquisition, sales and partnerships across East Africa.

    Responsibilities:

    • Establishes and maintains business plan to grow merchant acquisitions.
    • Develops a clear understanding of the strategic goal of the business and translates this into strategies for merchant acquisition, conversion and retention.
    • Promote and make presentations to merchants, retailers and other entities across Nigeria to acquire new partnerships;
    • Maintain merchants relationships to ensure continual growth and sales targets.
    • Leverage on prospects and contract new merchants and partners by presenting the appropriate solutions.
    • Generate, maintain and increase business opportunities with existing merchants.
    • Provide customer data to the merchants to show the value SureGifts adds to their business.
    • Prepare ad hoc reports as and when needed on market comparison analysis, feasibility studies etc.
    • Design and create business proposals to merchants.
    • Design, create and make presentations to close deals.
    • Develop and grow merchant sales and support the sales team as required.

    Customer Service Executive

    About the Customer Support Executive role.

    SureGifts creates and sells vouchers that are used for retail products in Africa. We build an end to end system that generates, distributes and redeem vouchers.

    The Customer Support Executive, SureGifts is responsible for providing effective customer service to all internal and external customers, using excellent, in-depth knowledge of SureGifts products to meet and exceed customers' expectations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact on all Client specific matters.
    • Communicate daily with clients via different channels (Telephone, Email, Web, Newsletters, Social media etc).
    • Process Client orders/requests/enquiries in line with SureGifts policy and procedures.
    • Collaborate with product and support teams to drive customer issues to resolution.
    • Partner with sales team to meet and exceed customer expectations through timely and accurate feedback and resolution of requests and complaints;
    • Follow up on all new and unresolved customer complaints/issues to ensure resolution.
    • Provide comprehensive and insightful reporting and updates on customer service enquiries, requests and complaints;
    • Contact current and prospective customers to sell and explain products and solicit for new business.
    • Maintain relationships with service providers to ensure client orders are within SLA;
    • Proactively identify and lead customer support process improvements.
    • Serve as the voice of the customer to prioritize for platform improvements;
    • Monitor and track customer satisfaction through regular check-ins or surveys
    • Provide administrative assistance and support

    Requirements:

    • University Degree
    • 3+ years of experience in a customer support role preferably within an eCommerce industry;
    • Experience with CRM systems and practices
