Reporting to: Operations Executive, with direct support from the Group HR and Learning & Development teams
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
We are looking for a qualified HR and Training Officer to oversee all human resources and training operations in the region and ensure they are consistent and aligned with our Nimble Group’s operational goals. Our ideal candidate should have solid experience with HR practices and employee management.
He or she will communicate and align with the group’s HR systems and processes, and work together with the groups HR teams and with the operational executives and managers to provide the necessary advice, support and coaching where required.
Job Responsibilities
Under the management / direction of the Operations Executive, the Group HR and Learning & Development teams, the HR and Training Officer will have the following responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Human Resources
- Conduct and manage employee onboarding of all new starters Learning & Development
- Learning and Development
- Planning, preparation and facilitation of various training workshops
- Reporting
- Administration around any and / all training interventions
- Any ad-hoc duties
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in HR and L&D function
- Degree or Diploma in HR or related field
- Certificate in Training facilitation
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practice
- Knowledge of labour legislation
- Strong understanding of recruitment lifecycle
- Excellent working knowledge of MS office
- Experience working on SAGE People payroll is preferable

Working Hours
You will be required to work a maximum of 52 hours per week, on a shift basis. Shifts will be dependent on new starter intakes and will be scheduled and agreed upon between yourself and your direct manager accordingly and slotted between 08:00am and 21:00pm, Monday – Friday, and 09:00am and 18:00pm, on Saturdays.

Under the management / direction of the Office Administrator, the General Office Worker will have the following responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Cleaning (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning vents, polishing etc.), stocking and supplying designated facility areas
- Emptying waste bins, transporting waste material to designated collection points
- To clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks and drinking fountains
- Maintenance
- Tea / coffee for Management meetings (if applicable).
- Kitchen duties (if applicable).
- To carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the job.
Requirements for the
- 2 – 3 years corporate cleaning experience
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning
- Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours

Job Responsibilities
Under the management / direction of the Team Manager, the Outbound Collections Agent will have the following responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Collections and Productivity Management
- Ensure that allocated collection target/s are achieved
- Ensure that allocated productivity target/s are achieved
- Use effective communication and negotiation to ensure successful commitments to pay (Promises to Pay)
- Follow-up daily on progress of the PTP’s and the respective statuses to optimise collections
- Ensure full understanding of product/s working on
- Quality Management
- Understands, interprets and applies laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures to collections process
- Adhere to / utilize the collections call script/s
- Ensure that all debtors information held on record is up to date and accurate Ensure that the accounts are properly maintained at all time on the collections system
- Deals with people and/or debtors in a manner which shows empathy, tact, and professionalism
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years working experience and above call centre experience would be advantageous
- Working experience within an outbound debt collections environment / outbound sales environment / outbound customer service environment
- Credit and Criminal clear
- Strong communication skills
- Computer literate
- Understanding / working knowledge of a collections system is advantageous

Remuneration Structure
- Basic Salary PLUS Uncapped Commission

- Monday – Friday: 17:00 until 21:00
- Saturdays: To be discussed and agreed upon acceptance of offer
