Job description
The Opportunity
In this role as the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist you will contribute to the success of the M&E strengthening Project by working with and supporting Country Offices to adopt and implement the new M&E approach, frameworks and system to ensure transparency and accountability to all our stakeholders and that we, as an organisation, are able to capture, store, analyse and report on our progress in a consistent and coherent way.
You will contribute to enhancing capacity in our offices to apply the above approach, principles & standards and system in order to generate and act on evidence to inform our programmes and influence and learn.
The Person
In order to succeed in this challenging and varied role, you will need:
Location: Flexible. Preferably East and Southern African Countries (Egypt, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Sudan, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Uganda, Mozambique, Zambia, Rwanda, Zimbabwe) where Plan International currently has a legal entity and you have the pre-exsisting righ to work will be considered. Employment will be as per local terms and conditions.
Type of Role: 18 Month Fixed Term Contract
Reports to: Global Head of Monitoring and Evaluation
Salary: Highly Competitive
