    Driver II

    GRADE ADAK 11

    Vacancy No. ADAK/2/7/2019

    Salaries Scale: 27,000-40,500

    Responsibilities

    • Driving a motor vehicle as authorized for official duty and assignments;
    • Carrying out routine checks on the vehicle’s cooling, oil, tyre pressure, electrical and brake systems;
    • Maintaining records of service and accessories;
    • Detecting and reporting of malfunctioning of vehicle systems;
    • Maintaining of work tickets for vehicles assigned;
    • Reporting traffic incidents or accidents;
    • Ensuring security and safety of the vehicle on and off the road;
    • Ensuring safety of the passengers and/or goods therein; and
    • Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle.

    Qualifications

    • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D (plain) or equivalent qualification;
    • A current driving license free from current endorsements and valid for all of the classes of vehicles, which the driver is required to drive;
    • Attended a First-Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week obtained at St John Ambulance, or Kenya Institute of Highway and Building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized Institution;
    • Passed Suitability Test for Driver Grade III;
    • Passed Occupational Test Grade III;
    • Passed Practical Test for Drivers conducted by Automobile Association (AA) of Kenya or National Transport and Safety Authority or National Youth Service;
    • A valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations;
    • Have minimum period of three (3) years driving experience; and
    • A Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution

    Corporate Communication Officer

    ADAK/1/7/2019

    Salaries Scale: 70,350-96,600

    Responsibilities

    • Monitoring public perception of the Agency;
    • Implementing media relations programmes;
    • Implementing internal communications programmes;
    • Ensuring adherence to the corporate brand;
    • Drafting speeches;
    • Arranging corporate functions and events;
    • Preparing corporate publicity materials;
    • Managing social media platforms;
    • Collecting and collating information for the Agency’s website; and
    • Implementing Corporate Social responsibility programmes.

    Qualifications

    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-

    • Bachelors degree in any of the following disciplines:- Journalism, Mass Communications, Public Relations, Communication and Media or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and
    • Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution
