I.  Diploma Holders

Requirements for Appointment

• have Kenya Certificate of Education (KCSE) mean grade C with a minimum of C+ in English or Kiswahili and C in any other relevant subjects or its approved equivalent qualification;
• have a Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Journalism, Mass Communication, International Relations, Communication Studies, Public Relations or any other approved equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution; and
• be proficient in computer applications.

II. Degree Holders

• be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Mass Communication, Communication Studies, Journalism, Public Relations, Social Sciences or any other approved equivalent qualifications from a recognized University/Institution;
• possess good oral and written communication skills in both English and Kiswahili; and
• be proficient in computer applications

For appointment an Intern must have: -

• A Bachelor of Law degree from any of the Public Universities in Kenya or any other recognized University.
• A post graduate Diploma in legal Studies from the Kenya School of Law.
• Admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.

For appointment to a position in this section, an intern must have the following minimum requirements;

• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce, Business Administration, Mathematics, Biological/Physical Sciences, Entrepreneurship, Statistics, Economics or Project Planning and Management from a recognized institution.

OR

• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following Disciplines: Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Electronics, Metallurgy, Aeronautical, Agricultural), Agriculture, Animal Science, Food Technology, Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, Textile Technology, Production Technology, Leather Sciences, Wood Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, Geology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry or Computer Science from a recognized institution; and
• Be Computer literate.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or Economics and Mathematics or Economics and Statistics from a recognized University/Institution.

OR

• A Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in Economics from any recognized institution or Master’s Degree in the fields in (i) above; and
• Be computer literate.

• Be computer literate.

Must have passed Certified Public Accounting (CPA) part II of the Certified Public Accounts (CPA) examination or its equivalent qualifications; and
