Handyman at Kenya Wine Agencies Limited (KWAL)

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Perform routine and adhoc maintenance or housekeeping work in accordance to the job cards and report any change of tasks to the Foreman in adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Inspect the site in order to identify and rectify safety hazards in collaboration with the foreman.
• Maintain the assigned tools and equipment in good working order
• Control the access of workshop by unauthorised staff with the aim of ensuring that housekeeping and safety procedures are enforced in the workshop area.
• Provide support, where necessary, personnel visiting the site such as contractors to ensure adherence with work instructions and safety policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• A Certificate in a technical field.
• At least one (1) year experience in handling Handyman roles within a manufacturing organisation.

• Hands on experience in carrying out routine fixes and maintenance.
• Ability to do manual work over a long period of time.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good planning and organisational skills.
• High level of Integrity.
