Have a B.Sc. in Food Science or Nutrition or equivalent experience in food technology and or food nutrition. Master’s Degree preferred.
Have 8 to 10 years working experience in food processing, with at least 2 in a manufacturing facility/ plant.
Be both a strategist and an implementer, comfortable with working in an unstructured environment.
Have a proven track record in providing technical solutions to food processors.
Possess excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Strong project management skills.
Have the ability to manage all parties involved in the process. This includes but is not limited to: food processors, technical volunteers, entrepreneurs etc.
Have excellent communication skills; with the ability to communicate clearly with all varying parties, ensuring information shared is not ‘diluted’; e.g. explaining a technical problem to an entrepreneur.
