Roles for the Business Development Intern

• PPA is looking for an Intern to handle a variety of personnel related administrative duties
  assist in creating and maintaining business relationships.
• Your role is to act as the liaison between the Business Executive Officer, other HR staff and outsourced employees to ensure smooth communication and prompt resolution of all queries.
• You will also support our daily HR activities and assist in coordinating HR policies, processes and relevant documents.

The successful candidate of this role will:

• Have a B.Sc. in Food Science or Nutrition or equivalent experience in food technology and or food nutrition. Master’s Degree preferred.
• Have 8 to 10 years working experience in food processing, with at least 2 in a manufacturing facility/ plant.
• Be both a strategist and an implementer, comfortable with working in an unstructured environment.
• Have a proven track record in providing technical solutions to food processors.
• Possess excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Have the ability to manage all parties involved in the process. This includes but is not limited to: food processors, technical volunteers, entrepreneurs etc.
• Have excellent communication skills; with the ability to communicate clearly with all varying parties, ensuring information shared is not ‘diluted’; e.g. explaining a technical problem to an entrepreneur.
