    Regional Sales Manager

    The role will primarily involve you utilising your existing, extensive customer network to further develop business partnerships with leading food & beverage distributors, to build & grow the HORECA client base and to drive the profile and sales of VEEN on an Africa level.

    This role is relevant to experienced, hungry, dynamic individuals looking for that next exciting role. You must be well presented, able to think on your feet, and relentless in your pursuit of incremental sales.

    Job responsibilities:

    • Drive sales by telephone and client visits in the HORECA sector (hotels, restaurants, catering, QSR’s) of the business in the region.
    • Manage distributor relationships and client relationships.
    • Work on key account management.
    • Source new key accounts.
    • Assist with the overall regional sales strategy of the brand.
    • Oversee sales function and develop team of sales staff
    • Provide market leading customer service
    • Monitor and report on competitive activity
    • Effective pipeline management and accurate forecasting in line with company requirements
    • Analyse sales trends in customer accounts, and develop strategies to maximise sales

    The ideal person:

    • A graduate/post graduate, with mid-senior level sales experience specifically in the beverage industries and ideally in non-alocholic beverages.
    • Well-travelled with international work experience.
    • Have at least 3-4 years experience within HORECA sales.
    • Very fluent in English.
    • Fluent using Mac, Microsoft Office & email.
    • Have in-depth knowledge of the HORECA market and strong sales skills.
    • Have good administrative skills, punctuality, dependability and presentation skills.
    • Ideally be looking forward to grow within the organization and able to build a team.
    • Valid drivers license.
