Qualifications for the Data Scientist Job

• At least two years experience in a data science / analytics oriented role, preferably handling large data sets to generate meaningful outputs for non technical stakeholders
• A degree in engineering, software development or computer science
• Strong business acumen, with an intuitive understanding of metrics and KPIs
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills,
• Fluency in excel and powerpoint
• Good analytical skills, ability to draw out key trends from complex data using data visualisations
• Experience using BI tools such as Tableau
• Experience with ETL tools for data manipulation
• Programming experience using Python
• Experience with statistical analysis packages
