SunMarine Outdoor Club is a membership outdoor club focused on providing wholesome, fun, educational, healthy and challenging outdoors activities for its members. We are recruiting two (2) telemarketers to be part of our membership recruitment drive.

Job Description and Responsibilities:-

The role is primarily recruiting members to the club via the telephone. The general roles will include;

• Contacting individuals and businesses, describing the club and its purpose in order to persuade them to join.
• Explaining the various membership types of the club and the features of each.
• Collecting and collating relevant member and prospect information as well as reactions of prospects contacted.
• Explaining the upcoming club events to members and prospects and answering questions while providing optimal information for member decision making.
• Making follow up phone calls to prospects.
• Maintenance of member and prospect database with the relevant information and classification.
• Adapting and amending marketing pitch to suit different prospects.
• Answer prospect calls and emails as follow up to marketing activities.
• Schedule appointments with prospective members.

Attributes:-

The ideal candidate will be results driven, persistent, have time management and prospecting skills. Prior telephone sales experience with proven results, customer service skills including selling to customer needs are necessary for this role.

Further the candidate should have passion and drive for Sales, be able to meet targets and quickly be able to acquire product knowledge.
