Job Responsibilities

• Scrutinize / analyze monthly financial statements of all group companies in depth and point out discrepancies / areas of concern and ensure that corrections are done by the respective finance managers
• Prepare financial statements of Mauritius based holding companies
• Do the consolidation of monthly financial statements of all the group companies using Prophix software (training will be provided)
• Prepare and analyse the monthly cash flow for individual companies and for the group as whole
• Review costing of all major products and prepare financial feasibility and payback analysis for new product lines
• Prepare cash flow forecast for the group
• Analyze most profitable and least profitable products for each company taking into account marginal cash flow and hidden costs at production, inventory and debtor stages
• Review actual vs planned IRR on capex projects of all companies
• Support CFO in tax compliance and tax planning for all companies
• Support CFO in review and speeding up of audits of all companies

Qualifications

• Education: Full time Graduate from reputed university with Maths / Commerce / Finance / Accounting as main subjects with high score in exams
• Experience: Minimum experience of 1-2 years in a large / medium size business.
• Age: 25-30 years
• Quick to learn any software & business processes.
• IT skills: Expert knowledge of MS Excel, Google Apps,​SAPR3​and other software in report writing & business intelligence such as Prophix, CVe Live systems, Teamwork, Crystal Reports etc.
• Analytical & Math Skills: Ability to work with large amounts of data: facts, figures, and number crunching. Ability to see through the data, synthesize and analyze it to find conclusions.
• Communication Skills: Ability to present the findings, or translate the data into and understandable document. Ability to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas.Experience with preparing infographics would be an added bonus.
• Critical Thinking: Ability to look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings & pattern recognition.
• Attention to Detail: Vigilant in accuracy, obsessive about producing error-free work in order to provide reports and analysis that allows decisions based on correct conclusions.
• Interpersonal Skills: Should have pleasant personality with ability to interact effectively with exceptional follow up & convincing skills with people from different locations.
