Power Specialist at Viscar Industrial Capacity

Our client, a Leading Telecommunications Firm with operations in Africa, seeks to recruit talented, dynamic and result-oriented professionals to fill the above position.

The incumbent will work closely with the General Manager.

The main purpose of the job is to provide support to operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Apply for power at Kenya Power and Municipalities.
• Manage consultants applying for power at Kenya Power and Municipalities.
• Manage and co-ordinate all construction activities related to power.
• Investigate solutions for power in areas where there is insufficient power from Kenya Power and Municipalities.
• Verify and scrutinize power bills vs power consumption per site

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate should hold a Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering;
• Have at least 2 –3 years’ experience in Electrical and/or Telecom industry
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to pay keen attention to detail. a problem solver with good self-management
