Reports To: Head of Sales and Marketing

Job Purpose: The position is required to work closely with customers to find out what they want, create solutions and ensure their goods get to them in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition.
• Daily reconciliation with the accounts team on sales achieved.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
• Ensure the correct products are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
• Escalate any issues and problems faced by customers and ensure they are resolved.
• Generate new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationship.
• Prepare weekly reports of progress and forecasts.
• Sales: an overall sales of KES2,500,000 in 2 months.
• Weekly reports of the customer trade visits ought to be submitted.
• Visit at least 20 customers daily.
• Ensure sales of at least 45,000KES per day.
• Ensure the customers get their correct order and in a timely manner

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for this Role

• Diploma or a certificate in related course. Experienced marketers will be given preference.
• At least 1 – 2 years’ experience
• Experience in an alcoholic and non-alcoholic industry will be an added advantage
• Valid driving licence
• Police Clearance Certificate
• Strong business development and marketing skills
• Have strong communication skills and negotiating skills
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
• Someone who can demonstrate high levels of integrity, honesty
• Ability to set realistic targets and meet them
