Customer Operations at NUMI

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for satisfying the customer. Everyone at NUMI works tirelessly so you can succeed at your job. They obsess over making the customer happy. They’re a small team with a rapidly growing customer base, so this job requires learning and developing new processes as they grow. You’ll be on the front lines - communicating with customers via chat and phone about their orders and coordinating deliveries with our boda boda team. You’ll be the first person to report to the customer operations lead.

Key Requirements:

• Find joy in making customers happy.
• Bring new product ideas to the table and document new processes
• Want to be part of a team that will permanently raise customer expectations in Kenya.
• Are Organized and methodical but nimble enough to handle customer situations quickly without too much oversight.
• Excellent written communication skills, including precise grammar and spelling.
• Listen actively, repeating back to teammates and customers what you heard to make sure everyone is on the same page.
• Know how to manage up and surface information to team leaders.
• You view time as a valuable currency.
• You find yourself lifting your teammates up and help others proactively.
