Debt Collector at Momentum Credit

Role Summary:

This is a great opportunity to take ownership and grow with Kenya’s leading non-bank lender. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall recovery of the written-off portfolio as well as the advanced recovery measures for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recover written-off accounts
• Liaise with external debt collectors, investigators, police, asset tracers and any other service provider to recover assets from delinquent accounts
• Collect on advanced repossession accounts

• You have 2+ years’ experience working in a debt recovery capacity with a financial institution
• You are motivated by aggressive performance based compensation structures
• You are goal oriented and resourceful, with an extensive network of service providers
• You are able to formulate and implement aggressive debt recovery strategies
• You build great relationships and are a strong verbal and written communicator in English
• You are a strategic thinker
