    Manager-Access Network Quality Assurance, Benchmarking and Reporting

    Description

    We are pleased to announce the following vacancy in the Business Assurance department within the Corporate Security division. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.

    Brief Posting Description

    Reporting to the Senior Manager-Network Quality Assurance, the individual serves to provide independent assurance to the business on Quality of Access networks to ensure achievement and sustainability of superior network experience for GSM services (Voice, Data, SMS) on all network sites (2G/3G/LTE)

    Job Responsibilities

    • Daily Access Network performance monitoring & Reporting.
    • Formulate, coordinate and drive plans geared towards achievement and sustainability of superior Network Experience.
    • Network quality tests and revenue analysis on Access network elements (Radio network) and relate to NPS & potential revenue loss
    • Network integrity drive tests to ensure customer KPI’s and revenue KPI’s are met.
    • Detect, investigate, document and follow up until resolution all quality of service issues from the tests carried out.
    • Benchmarking tests to ensure superior Network experience across the country
    • Management of Customer Complaints via investigative drive tests and escalations to the Technical teams
    • Research, test and document new Network parameters and features as related to 2G/3G/4G
    • Reporting on Performance of New Network Elements and Services
    • Network Traffic statistics Analysis in line with voice and data campaigns to assure service availability, capacity readiness, customer and revenue effect.
    • Reporting to network engineering team on all anomalies affecting general performance, customer experience and revenues for rectification.
    • Ensuring new sites and other access Nodes (BSC, RNC etc.) integration are performing as per perceived plans.
    • Provide assurance on compliance returns to CA on Network Redundancy, Resilience and Diversity (NRRD) framework for access network

      Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Telecom engineering /electrical& electronics engineering/IT or similar discipline from a recognized university
    • Minimum of 3-5 years working experience in a GSM or similar environment.
    • Good working knowledge in network performance management and understanding of network measurement gathering and analysis.
    • Good working knowledge of GSM & UMTS Planning, Operations & Maintenance, IP Planning and Operational practices.
    • Ability to analyze significant amounts of data and information and be able to monitor and explain trends and variances as well as querying of relational databases.
    • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and multiple simultaneous projects.
