Job Objective/Purpose

Accounts Assistant (Budgeting& Reporting) ensures accurate and quality revenue capture and protection per laid down policies and procedures of the organization and in accordance with Accounting Standards

Main Responsibilities

• Data analysis-Gathering, organizing, and analyzing financial data from various sources like budgets, income statements, and balance sheets
• Performance Monitoring-Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing variances against budget, and reporting on financial performance
• Collaboration-Working with various teams to gather data, provide analysis, and ensure financial alignment across the organization
• Risk Management- Identifying and assessing financial risks and developing mitigation strategies
• Financial Analysis- Analyzing financial data, interpreting trends, and identifying potential risks and opportunities
• Cost Management- Analyzing costs, identifying areas for potential savings, and contributing to cost reduction strategies
• Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actuals and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations
• Presentations-Presenting financial models and reports to management accountant clearly explaining financial issues, risks, providing recommendations based on financial analysis to support business decisions
• Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor in line with the job description.

Person Specification

• Bachelor's degree in a Finance/Accounting
• CPA II
• ACCA
• Data Analytical 
• Minimum of 3 years' work experience in Finance and Accounts
• Attention to detail
