Migori County is a county in the former Nyanza Province of southwestern Kenya. It is located in western Kenya and borders Homa Bay County, Kisii County, Narok, Tanzania and Lake Victoria to the West. The county also borders Uganda via Migingo Island in Lake Victoria.

Oversee auditing of financial resources in educational institution
Carry out research on indigenous languages and all forms of national and cultural expressions
Implement capacity building programmes for education managers, committees and boards

Monitor quality and standards of Education; and

Requirements for Appointment
Be a Kenyan citizen
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Arts or Science from a recognized institution and a post graduate Diploma in Education from a recognized institution;
Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines: education, arts, Project Planning & Management, Education Communication and Technology, science, or business administration in a management related field from a recognized institution will be an added advantage;
Knowledge and relevant work experience of not less than six (6) years and has at least three (3) years’ experience at management level;
Proficiency in computer applications; and
Demonstrated a high degree of professional competence and administrative capability
