    Assistant Director Teacher Management

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines; Education or Technology Education from a recognized institution;

    OR

    • Bachelor’s degree in Science /arts with a post –graduate diploma in Education from a recognized institution;
    • Master’s degree in any of the following discipline, Education or technology Education from a recognized institution

    OR

    • Master’s degree in Science /Arts from a recognized institution as an added advantage
    • Senior Management course lasting not less than (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
    • Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution
    • 3 years’ working experience
    • Membership to IHRM or KASNEB
    • Possess Leadership skills, Communication skills, Interpersonal skills, Organizational skills, Ability to work under pressure, Negotiation skills, Ability to build and lead cohesive teams, Problem solving skills
    • Must meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and integrity.

    Job Description

    • Coordinating equitable distribution of materials, tools and equipment to the Teacher Management Centres.
    • Monitoring implementation of curricular and co- curricular activities to maintain standards in Teacher Management Centres.
    • Assessing upcoming Teacher Management Centres’ capacity for registration as training institutions and examination centres,
    • Coordinating the identification, promotion and development of innovative initiatives in Teacher Management Centres,
    • Monitoring the development and maintenance of skills inventories in Teacher Management Centres.
    • Promoting and developing talent through creative arts (music, art and drama) managing inter – post primary Training Centres’ exchange programs to enhance learning,
    • Popularizing Teacher Management Centres to target communities,
    • Establishment and maintenance of personnel records in the Teacher Management Centres.
