    Assistant Manager, Project Management

    Job Summary

    This role is responsible for leading the implementation of assigned projects through a Project Implementation Team within the assigned time, budget and scope.

    Key Responsibilities

    Managerial / Supervisory Responsibilities

    • Implement Project planning, organizing, and budget
    • Coordinate all project stakeholders’ engagement for particular assigned
    • End-to-end execution of a project
    • Execute project risk management throughout the
    • Project monitoring and progress
    • Lead Secretariat of the respective project
    • Responsible for authoring and updating project management documentation; business cases, project plans, etc.
    • Responsible for vendor and project contract
    • Facilitate project assurance throughout the project life
    • Facilitate procurement division support for project throughout its life cycle
    • Facilitate implementation of the work plans for the following corporate initiatives in the unit: Audit, Integrity, QMS, and Risk
    • Drive initiatives to improve ethics, and culture and facilitate change management in the unit

    Operational Responsibilities / Tasks

    • Day-to-day operations, supervision, management of performance, and development of staff in the unit
    • Custodian of project management documentation
    • Participate in projects’ audits when called upon

    Academic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, ICT, or Project-related field from a recognized institution

    Professional Qualifications

    Required Certification

    • Certification in Project Management, (PRINCE 2, PMP)

    Relevant Work Experience

    • A minimum of 4 years working experience in a project management setup and at least one (1)  year at supervisor role.
