Ark’s Education Partnerships Group (EPG) is an international not-for-profit consultancy that partners with governments to help them shape and strengthen their education systems. EPG has supported governments around the world to design, develop and implement education system reform projects, spanning the areas of school accountability, public and private sector partnerships and support to school networks
EPG is looking for Associate Directors to join our Programmes Team, taking responsibility for programme delivery functions including team management and development, as well as the planning and delivery of activities of an assigned programme portfolio. The successful candidates will play a leadership role in the organisation, working with the Director of Programmes in the management and delivery of programme portfolio across a range of country teams. You'll manage and support a small team of programme staff based within ministries of education to ensure programmes are delivered to high quality standards.
With significant professional experience in leadership within international development, your background will include project delivery and high level relationship management working with and through governments. You'll also bring a track record in leading agile teams, have worked across multiple countries and understand how to report to donors and governments.
Candidates may have experience in any international development context, but exposure to global education programmes would be a plus. What's more important is strong leadership capability and government relations experience in low and middle income countries.
