Associate Software Engineer at Dawit Insurance

Responsibilities

• Assist in defining and reviewing requirements and use cases for the application.
• Design the application to meet business process design and application requirements.
• Configure, build, and thoroughly test application or technical architecture components.
• Participate in code reviews and facilitate transitions of application components to testers.
• Rectify any defects and address performance issues uncovered during testing.
• Develop technical and functional/end-user operational documentation for the software or system.
• Attend and actively contribute to company development meetings.
• Write and maintain code, focusing on bug fixes and enhancements.
• Monitor the technical performance of internal systems.
• Generate reports and conduct development tests.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of industry experience in building SaaS platforms.
• Minimum of 2 years of industry experience with web-app, cloud-based architecture.
• Professional experience in building frontend tech stacks using Angular JS, Typescript or React JS.
• Proficient in using DevOps pipelines and implementing code quality enhancing tools.
• Experienced in building scalable backend tech stacks using Laravel and NestJS.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Capacity to follow instructions and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a relevant field.
