Chef at MNC Consulting Group Limited

Our client in the hospitality industry is seeking to recruit a chef. This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef, located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring high quality and presentation of food. The Chef will also design menus, order supplies, and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
• Knowledge of menu design and meal planning
• Experience in kitchen management, including staff supervision and inventory control
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing environments
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Formal culinary training or certification is preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
