Chief Supply Chain Management Assistant at Kitui County

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –

• Be a Kenyan Citizen;
• Served in the grade of Senior Supply Chain Management Assistant or in a comparable and relevant position in the Public Service for a minimum period of three (3) years;
• Diploma in Supplies Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Attended a management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks; and
• Shown administrative capability and outstanding performance.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Undertaking procurement of less complex nature;
• Overseeing and coordinating warehousing;
• Distribution and fleet management;
• Disposal of stores and equipment;
• Market surveys and research; and
• Inventory and stock control and procurement plans.
