Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities of the position.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Should have a rich background in Software sales and marketing
• Should have skills in digital marketing especially social media marketing
• Should be goal oriented individual who can deliver on target.
• Supervising the work of junior officers.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS

• Initial evaluation of new projects profitability
• Planning of projects including scheduling the project timelines.
• Costing/ Budgeting for the projects and managing the project budget effectively.
• Responsible for overall management of projects lifecycle.
• Monitors and evaluate project progress from time to time
• Maintain records and generate reports and analytics for key aspects of the projects.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT SKILLS

• Resourcing/ Recruiting for the projects.
• Creating and Maintaining Relationship with external stakeholders.
• Responsible for making key decision in the absence of the operations
• Director and Director for Technologies.

Reporting Line.

• This Position Reports directly to the CEO. There shall be Business development officers reporting to this position. The position is the head of Business development and hence very crucial for the organization.

Qualifications

Required hard Skills and Soft skills.

• Technical Skills: Must be full stuck (Backend & Frontend) developer with at least skills in 3 different programming languages with background in IOS, Android, Windows, and Mac.
• Websites platforms
• Apps and software.
• Data base designing and maintenance
• Management System Software/ installation/ maintenance
• Networking & server Maintenance
• Project management Skills: Must have 3 years’ experience with project management. And well vast with management of project lifecycle.
• Understanding of project lifecycle
• Project management tools
• Project resourcing and workforce management.
• Various Project management Styles
• Costing and Finance: Must have skills in project financial management starting from project costing, actual budget management, to cost variation control.

Human Resource Skills: Must have people Skills;

• Industry Network with other developers
• Recruitment for projects
• Collaboration.

Monitoring and Evaluation of Projects; Must be skills in project monitoring and elevation;

Academic Qualification

• Should be a holder of at least Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, ICT, Software Engineering or any other relevant business course.
• Preferably a master’s degree holder in any field of computing and computer science.
