Commercial Operations Manager at Huresco Company Limited

• Our client is a leading wholesaler and retailer of timber and timber products sourced from within the sub-Saharan Africa and in other international markets. They are URGENTLY seeking an experienced Commercial Operations Manager to support both commercial and operational functions by ensuring efficient order execution, production coordination, inventory control, and delivery management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full order lifecycle, from receipt of Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) to delivery and site completion
• Coordinate with clients and production teams to ensure accurate interpretation and execution of specifications
• Manage inventory, warehousing, stock receipting, and dispatch operations
• Supervise warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure efficiency, compliance, and quality standards
• Monitor production schedules, identify constraints, and implement corrective actions Ensure accuracy and compliance of delivery documentation, including GRNs, delivery notes, and PODs
• Support site coordination activities and confirm delivery timelines
• Partner with the sales team on operational feasibility assessments
• Improve order tracking, reporting, and internal operational processes

Qualifications:

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field
• 4 to 6 years' relevant experience in manufacturing, timber, building materials, or logistics
• Demonstrated experience in order management, inventory control, and client coordination
• Team Leader with Strong commercial awareness with solid numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure
• Assertive, results-driven professional with high ethical standards.
