Community Relations Officer Intern at Kenya Electricity Generating Company PLC, KenGen

Duties and responsibilities

• Support the development of stakeholders engagement plan
• Facilitate development of Resettlement Action Plans (RAP)
• Facilitate identification, implementation and monitor Community Development Carbon Fund projects
• Facilitate stakeholder coordination committee meetings
• Facilitate solution for stakeholders concerns and grievances about company projects
• Implement CSR activities
• Facilitate resolving stakeholder and community grievances around the Company projects and operations.
• Disseminate communication to stakeholders using the appropriate communication channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Community Development , Anthropology, Social Science or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
• Must be Prepared to serve anywhere in any of the business areas in Kenya
