    Content Curation Support Manager

    ROLE PURPOSE:

    • To work closely with the GCCU and Technical Support Manager.
    • Manage content uploaded to Content hub daily. Ensure required metadata is submitted with assets. Managing the folder structure in the back end of Content Hub and help curate content.
    • Supporting COs and members with Content Hub access and use. Continue the Monthly global trainings.
    • In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

    Essential

    • Proven experience of working with creative content
    • An understanding of content gathering 
    • Knowledge of copyright laws
    • Must be a fast learner with organisational skills and attention to detail 
    • High level of computer literacy 
    • Knowledge in or strong interest in managing archives/rich media
    • Enjoy working with a wide range of people, investing time in helping colleagues improve their skills with Content Hub.
    • Ability to priorities competing demands on your time while under pressure to meet deadlines.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft PC applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
    • Personal drive and commitment for wanting to affect positive change. 
    • Excellent communication skills 
    • Cultural sensitivity, with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work as part of a team within a networked structure, and to maintain good working relationships with colleagues across functional and geographical boundaries
    • An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt work plans flexibly depending on external opportunities
    • This position requires fluency in English, second language skills a plus.
