Duties and Responsibilities

• You shall be the authorized officer in respect of the exercise of delegated powers and shall be responsible to the respective County Executive Committee Member for:
• The administration of the respective County Government Department;
• Implementation of polices and development plans;
• Development and implementation of strategic plans;
• Formulation and implementation of effective programmes to attain sector goals;
• Promotion of National Value, Principles of Governance and Principles of Public Services

Requirements for Appointments

• Be a Kenyan citizen;
• Be a holder of a Bachelor degree in the relevant field applied for from a university recognized in Kenya;
• Master degree in the relevant field will be an added advantage;
• Have Knowledge, experience and a distinguished career in the specific area for a minimum of 10 years, 5 of which should be at a managerial level;
• Be a registered with the relevant professional body;
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of County development goals and plans towards attainment of Kenya Vision 2030;
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding and commitment to the values and principles as outlined in article 10 and 232 of the of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010;
• Be a strategic thinker, proactive and results oriented;
• Have a capacity to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines;
• Have the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity, and,
