Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, the applicant must have:

• Kenyan citizenship;
• A relevant Bachelor’s degree recognised in Kenya;
• A Master’s degree will be an added advantage;
• Be a strategic thinker and results-oriented;
• Be a member of the Professional Body in the discipline;
• Have experience of not less than (10) ten years in relevant fields, (5) five of the years should be in a senior/managerial position in a large organization
• Have excellent commnication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Have capacity to work under pressure to meet strict timelines
• Be a computer literate with knowledge of Ms. word, Excel and at least one technical packae relevant to ypur field of operation
• All copies of certificates attachd to the application must be certified by the issuing institution

Duties and Responsibilities

• Day to day administration of the county department
• Formulation and implementation of progras to attain the sector goals as set out in the CIDP and vision 2030
• Development and Implementation of strategic plans and sector development plans
• Implementation of policies and regulations
• Providing stradegic policy direction for effective service delivery
• Ensuring compliance with National Values and principles of good governance as outlined in article 10 and 232 of the constitution of Kenya
• Any othe duties as may be assigned from time to time
