Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of five design professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Oversee the preparation and review of residential design drawings to ensure accuracy, compliance with building codes, and adherence to industry standards.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
• Work closely with architects, engineers to translate design concepts into detailed construction documents.
• Review and mark up drawings for accuracy, clarity, and constructability before final approval.
• Ensure all design documentation aligns with client requirements, municipal regulations, and zoning laws.
• Facilitate team collaboration and resolve design coordination issues between architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Manage project timelines and workload distribution to optimize efficiency.
• Stay updated on building codes, construction techniques, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and innovation.
• Maintain records of design revisions and document changes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other design software to create, review, and modify design documents.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in AutoCAD with a bias in structural drawing design.
• Academic Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering.
• Experience in senior architecture and interior design.
• Ability to communicate effectively and advise clients on design ideas.
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining drawing documentation.
• Team management experience and a collaborative mindset
