Roles and responsibilities technical operator electrical

• Trouble shooting and repair production equipment, electrical breakdown in timely manner.
• Assist in development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedule of plant equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance of plant and equipment to reduce breakdown and attain availability of above 85%.
• Install, maintain and repair plant electrical facilities
• Propose and assist in implementation of continuous improvement of the project.
• Liaise with plant engineer to ensure availability of electrical consumables for the plant
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
• Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.

Qualifications

• BSc in electrical or electrical and electronic engineering from a recognized institution
• Advanced diploma in electrical or electrical and electronic engineering
• At least six years professional experience in food processing industry.
• Registered with relevant professional body
