    Environment Intern

    Role Description

    This is a part-time remote role for an Environment Intern at ECAS Institute. The Environment Intern will be responsible for tasks related to the following:

    • Preparing bids, concept notes, proposals, reports, and presentations.
    • Conducting market research and gathering data for consultancies
    • Analyzing information and identifying trends.
    • Communicating with clients and stakeholders.
    • Responding to client inquiries and providing updates.
    • Assisting with client meetings and presentations.
    • Assisting with project planning and implementation.
    • Tracking assignment progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
    • Supporting the development and implementation of recommendations.
    • Support with marketing and business development activities.
    • Support training activities.
    • May be involved in data collection, validation, and visualisation

    Qualifications

    • Knowledge of environment, climate change and energy-related issues
    • Knowledge of planning and managing training and capacity-building practices
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Experience in environmental research or related field is a plus
    • Experience with drafting concept notes, policy briefs and technical papers
    • Experience with technical reviews and reporting
    • Ability to offer expert advice and recommendations on technical issues and best practices.
    • Ability to help the organization implement new technologies or processes.
    • Ability to work independently and remotely
