Duties and Responsibilities

• Implementing natural resources activities within the county.
• Implementing conservation programmes.
• Monitoring and enforcing compliance with resources usage regulations and law.
• Preparing educational forestry programmes for community groups, schools, and visitors.
• Implementing forestry devolved functions on transition implementation plan.
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements for Appointment

• Be a Kenyan citizen.
• Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Forestry or any other relevant and equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
• Must have a minimum of D+ in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
