Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
Developing and maintaining highly responsive and reusable user interface components using react concepts.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Translating UI/UX designs to frontend code in the recommended tech stack.
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Documenting web application changes and developing updates.
Maintain and update project dependencies as well as fix any conflicts.
Collaboration with other engineers to develop front-end and backend architectures that are well structured and flexible.
Integrate to Rest and GraphQl API’s.
Writing unit tests for code written and any legacy code that has high failure rate.
Work with modern tools including Confluence, Jira, Slack, GitHub etc
Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development or a related technical field. This is optional, as long as you can showcase what you can do.
3+ years working as a frontend web engineer.
4+ years of professional software development experience.
Proficient understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript.
Good understanding of common programming paradigms and fundamental React principles such as React components, hooks, and the React lifecycle.
Good understanding of SSR, SSG and CSR.
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
Good understanding of Node Js and GraphQL.
Good understanding of writing unit tests.
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Proficient understanding of version control (Git)
Familiarity with Apollo client and Apollo server is a plus.
