    Human Resource Assistant

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

    • Recruitment: Assisting with the recruitment process, including reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and performing background checks
    • Record maintenance: Maintaining employee databases, tracking attendance and leaves, and processing employee documentation
    • Payroll: Assisting with payroll processing, including ensuring timely salary payments and filing statutory returns
    • Policy formulation: Assisting with formulating policies and procedures, and communicating updates to employees
    • Employee support: Providing clerical support to office staff, and serving as a point of contact for employees with HR-related questions or issues
    • Compliance: Ensuring HR records and procedures comply with legal regulations and company policies
    • Orientation: Coordinating orientation and training sessions for new employees
    • Termination: Completing termination paperwork and assisting with exit interviews
    • Any other duties as may be assigned by the management from time to time

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

    • Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management or Certified Human Resource Professional qualification (CHRP).
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a HR-related position
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
    • Knowledge of labour laws and government regulations that concern workplaces and employment matters.
    • Thorough understanding of human resource practices and industry trends.
    • Ability to manage deadlines and stressful situations.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Highly motivated individual.
