    Human Resource Officer

    Net Salary :Ksh50k

    Available: Immediately

    Job Summary

    Our Client within the FMCG sector is looking to recruit a Human Resource Officer. The ideal candidate Must be proactive individual who is a team player to join the team in the position of Human Resource Officer.

    The HRO will be required to support and implement HR initiatives & systems and develop talents through managing procedures and policy development while ensuring compliance with all HR regulations.

    Minimum Qualification: Bachelor

    • Experience Level: Mid level
    • Experience Length: 4 years as an HR Officer

    Job Description/Requirements

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Incharge of recruitment and selection of staff in line with the organizations’ policies and requirements.
    2. Manage new staff onboarding schedules.
    3. Maintain an effective Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) system through accurate data entry; ensure that both physical and electronic staff records are stored securely and are private and confidential.
    4. Manage staff leave and attendance records.
    5. Draft HR related documents such as letters, memos and contracts.
    6. Respond to HR queries from staff as required.
    7. Manage short-term staff contracts. Ensure that contracts are well managed by tracking start and end dates and send reminders to line managers when contracts near expiry.
    8. Manage staff probation by following a probation tracker and ensuring that after probation assessments are done. Issue confirmation letters post-probation.

    Qualifications

    1. Minimum of a degree in Human Resources Management or CHRP certification.
    2. Must be a member of IHRM
    3. Minimum of 4-year experience in an HR related job. Preferably in FMCG company as an HR Officer/HR Supervisor.
    4. Must have a good understanding and practical knowledge of the various employment laws.
    5. Must be computer/ IT proficient
    6. Candidate must be honest, a team player, and able to multi task
