    IGCSE Teachers

    All Subjects Year 1 to Year 7 IGCSE (Cambridge) Teachers

    Noblegate International Academy is looking for superstar Primary Years Program teachers for our Year 1 to Year 7 classes. The teacher will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional 21st Century learning experience for our students. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of an innovative school that is providing an outstanding and holistic education.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    Key responsibilities for the role include:

    1. Provide a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable.
    2. Plan activities that meet the social, physical, and emotional needs of the children.
    3. Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the school curriculum.
    4. Setting assessments for subject areas/topics when called upon
    5. Schedule stimulating and learning activities for the students.
    6. Prepare teaching aids to facilitate the learning of students.
    7. Devise games and activities, and also provides playing equipment, and ensure the playing facilities and equipment are clean and safe.
    8. Supervise the children as they learn and play.
    9. Observe and evaluate each child’s progress and provide a written report to the Principal, other school leaders, and parents.
    10. Monitor and keep records/ reports of the children’s progress and development.
    11. Assimilate arriving children to the school environment by greeting them, helping them remove outerwear, and selecting activities of interest to them.
    12. Establish and enforce rules for behaviour, and policies and procedures to maintain order among students.
    13. Plan and supervise class projects, field trips, visits by guests, or other experiential activities, and guide students in learning from those activities.
    14. Assist in bus loading and unloading.
    15. Attend professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops in order to maintain and improve professional competence.

    ABOUT YOU

    Skills and Qualifications required:

    1. TSC certification and Degree in Education/ P1 Diploma. CTIC highly desirable.
    2. 3-5 years of teaching experience in the IGCSE curriculum.
    3. You are a great communicator. You are able to provide clear and effective written and verbal communication.
    4. You are flexible and open to change – you handle uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity well.
    5. You are a problem solver – you are proactive in identifying issues and addressing these thoroughly by making an effort to find appropriate solutions.
    6. You are excited about school culture—and in particular, you are fired up to challenge yourself by embracing mutual vulnerability and a firehose of feedback.
