    HSE Lead

    Key responsibilities

    Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

    • To assist Environmental Sustainability report verification
    • To support sites in term of theoretical & practical projects & tasks by regional office
    • Support and guide HSE Personnel, monthly activities and inspection, reports & compliance
    • Ensure compliance with relevant authorities by developing and implementing HSE programs. Policies and management system
    • Ensure the HEA/HPRA of RSA/KIRMS. LIFE finding and ISO14001 and ISO45001 rectify closed and effective at sites where applicable
    • Communicating health and safety information to the organization as appropriate
    • To review & validate the HSE monthly KPI, HSE monitoring, waste management, JACOBS-DCF, SMT monthly report & gap outstanding for MY/SEA sites, incident management review & analysis
    • To review & validate report, compile analysis, advise and follow-up with sites:
    • Interpreting standard, advising management on needed actions, enforcing adherence to regulation (i.e. local OSH Act.) and Kerry corporate standard (RSA & Kerry Global)
    • To drive the HSE yearly action plan and evaluate the effectiveness for site
    • HSE Training: To ensure that the standards are trained off the highest level for all.
    • To put in place auditing protocols to verify training is adequate and to highlight areas for improvement.
    • Conduct on job training
    • Communication:
      • Disseminate and ensure the information from management to sites/down line or relevant parties.
      • Ensure effectiveness of SHC meeting by monthly basis & advise Environmental Committee
    • Continuous Improvement:
      • To propose & participate the continuous improvement activities as necessary
      • Continuously improve the manufacturing process through efficient operations and cost control.
    • Health & Safety:
      • To protect the safety through the continuous improvement of safety standards)
      • HSE regulations and compliance to all Statutory requirements in Food Safety.
    • Environment:
      • To continually reduce the impact has on the environment through the reduction of resource (energies, water etc.) use and the reduction of waste generation (food, components)
      • To perform any task assigned by the superior/dotted superior from time to time for career enhancement
    • HSE Management tools; Intelex deployment & implementation to MY sites
    • Stop Operation activity if there is a major/critical HSE issue of if work condition which induce to major HSE incident
    • Managing current HSE system – LIFE, ILX & Prosafe

    Qualifications And Skills

    • Minimum 5 - 8 Year Experience in Manufacturing environment with high knowledge in OHS, EMS & IETS Technology & Process would be an advantage
    • minimum 5 years’ experience in the area of HSE in a multinational food manufacturing company
    • Good Interpersonal communication Skill with positive attitude
    • Diploma / Degree / Master's in Engineering, Environmental, Health & Safety, Chemistry or equivalent
    • Registered as a competent Safety & Health Practitioner with local Authorities
    • ISO14001 & ISO45001 Lead Auditor will be an advantange
    • NEBOSH Qualification will be preferred
    • In-depth knowledge of the Occupational Safety & Health Act
    • Preferably with knowledge in ISO45001 & ISO14001.
    • Possess strong organizational and technical skills, a real passion for their work and driven to get the job done
    • Experience with compliance audits and safety management systems
    • An excellent communicator (both oral and written) capable of conveying ideas and concepts and making formal presentations.
    • Ability to work independently and have little need for close management supervision and direction
