    Learning & Capability Fellow

    As an  L & D Fellow you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality learning and development initiatives to support the growth and success of our team members and affiliated startups. This role will involve collaborating with various departments, conducting research on best practices, and implementing innovative solutions to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation within our organization and the wider startup ecosystem.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement learning and development programs tailored to the needs of our team members and affiliated startups, including workshops, seminars, and coaching sessions.
    • Develop training materials and resources to support the learning objectives of different programs, utilizing a variety of formats such as e-learning modules, videos, and interactive content.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify learning needs and priorities, and tailor training initiatives accordingly.
    • Facilitate training sessions and workshops, both in-person and virtually, ensuring engaging and impactful delivery.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development initiatives through feedback mechanisms, surveys, and performance metrics, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
    • Provide mentorship and coaching to team members and startup founders, supporting their professional growth and skill development.
    • Assist in the onboarding process for new team members and startups, providing guidance on available learning resources and opportunities.
    • Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in learning and development, and incorporate relevant innovations into our programs and initiatives.
    • Support the coordination and administration of training logistics, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and participant communications.
    • Contribute to the development of a vibrant learning community within Impact Africa Network and the broader startup ecosystem, fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
    • Highschool diploma with a minimum of B+ or equivalent.
    • Short stint or basic understanding of designing and delivering learning and development programs.
    • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and create interactive learning experiences.
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Proficiency in research work and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
