    Manufacturing and Maintenance Manager

    About the Role:

    • Burn is looking for a Manufacturing and Maintenance Manager who will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities leading to the quality production of company products in line with customer expectations and schedules with a focus on safety to optimize processes and the costs of the production and maintenance departments.

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Overall responsibility for the Maintenance, Safety and Production Departments
    • Oversee production scheduling, safety, training, and production documentation
    • Oversee preventative maintenance program of production lines, equipment, and utilities
    • Oversee root cause analysis system for Breakdowns including hands-on repairs and fixes and prevention of the issue in the future.
    • Implement new equipment and processes. Work with the Engineering team Production and Quality teams to qualify new processes and equipment.
    • Prepare leasehold improvements, equipment, people, etc. for new product launches.
    • Responsible for process improvement and continuous improvement.
    • Team management.
    • Take a leadership role with the on-the-floor teams when major changes come in the factory, such as big changes in volumes, compensation, team, etc.
    • Managing change and growth.
    • Responsible for factory expansion and improvement projects, such as building new offices. Maintain relationships with contractors (electrical, plumbing, civil, ventilation and fabrication).
    • Risk identification and planning for risk reduction of factory capacity, safety and maintenance.
    • Maintain clean, safe and orderly working environment.
    • Leadership and Overall responsibility for factory health.
    • Implement and manage ERP system from the production and maintenance perspectives
    • Implementation of strategic systems, such as TPM, lean, etc.

    Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, administration, or facility management
    • Minimum experience of 10 years in a supervisory role
    • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
    • Familiarity in drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics
    • Effective communication and people management skills
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
