    Market Development Assistant.- Recyclables

    Market Research

    • Gather information about prices and buyers for different recyclable materials.
    • Find out who the main players are in the market and what they are offering.
    • Keep up with changes and trends in the recyclables market.
    • Regularly check and compare prices to help get the best deal for each material, even for materials that are harder to sell

    Database Management

    • Build and update a database with details about buyers, prices, and materials.
    • Make sure the information is accurate and easy to use.

    Reporting

    • Share findings and updates with the team.
    • Prepare simple reports about market trends and prices.

    Extra Tasks 

    • Help spot risks, like sudden price changes or supply issues.
    • Suggest ways to improve how information is collected and shared.

    Requirements

    • Preferably diploma/degree in Mechanical engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, processing set up.
    • Company Operations: logistics, sorting, baling, storage, sales
    • Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE)
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Interest in market research, recycling, or data collection.
    • Good with numbers and details.
    • Able to organize information clearly.
    • Basic computer skills (Excel or Google Sheets).
    • Good communication skills.
    • Willingness to learn about the recycling industry.
