Merchandisers and Field Supervisors at Amplus International Ltd

Responsibilities

• Provide merchandising support and services to the assigned retail outlets in tandem with the required merchandising standards.
• Retail relationship: build, sustain and enhance rapport with store personnel
• Stock management: Maintain the optimum amount of quality stock of all SKUs and ensure adherence to FIFO
• Sales Management: Trigger orders and follow up for delivery. Ensure growth in the shelf off-take.
• Visibility: Ensure merchandising objectives are achieved by negotiating for SOS, product placement, POSM placement, extra feature displays, growth on SOS, etc.
• Reporting: Ensure accurate reports are submitted on time to the relevant recipients.
• Any other duty assigned by the Team Leader.

Qualifications

• At least a Diploma in Sales & Marketing or any other related field
• At least one year of experience as a Merchandiser.
• Confident with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Product awareness and commercial orientation
• MUST have a functional smart phone, Android version 6.0 and above.
• MUST have valid Food handler’s certificate.
• MUST have a valid Certificate of Good conduct

FIELD SUPERVISORS.

Key responsibilities 

•  Lead, supervisor and monitor Merchandizers in the assigned area.
• Consolidate and submit accurate Merchandizing reports.
• To assist in recruitment, training and induction of new Merchandizers.
• General coordination of your assigned area to ensure compliance to client’s demands
•  Effective implementation of other clients initiatives like promotions as may be briefed from time to time
• Carrying out effective supervision through scheduled and random back checks as well as shadow calls.
• Building and enhancing business relationships with the outlet management.
• Recruit new outlets that add value to the client.
• Follow all safety and risk management guidelines and policies and model best practices to associates 
• Any other duty as assigned by the project Manager

Required qualification

•  At least diploma holder in sales and Marketing or related field with a minimum KCSE score of at least C+.
• At least 2 years’ experience in supervising field staff.
• Can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be computer literate and in possession of a functional smart phone, Android version 6.0 that is in good condition.
• Must be a Kenyan with over 24 years of age.
• Ability to analyze, summarize and effectively present data & reports on excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills and a timekeeper.
