Driver I at Mombasa County Public Service Board

Duties and responsibilities will entail:

• Driving of assigned garbage trucks.
• Routine checks and maintenance of the trucks.
• Maintenance of work tickets
• Detecting reporting of malfunctioning of the assigned trucks
• Overall vehicle maintenance and management

Requirements for appointment:

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have;

• Kenya certificate of secondary education or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• 3 years’ experience of driving class E vehicles.
• A valid driving license for classes B, C and E.
• Sustainability test for drivers’ certificate from ministry of public works
• A valid certificate of good conduct from the Kenya police
• First aid certificate lasting not less than 1 week from a recognized institution.
