    Monitoring and Reporting Officer

    Overall Scope:

    The Monitoring & Reporting Officer is an intermediate officer-level position responsible for monitoring MEB portfolio and identifying credit migration in coordination with the Risk Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate management of MEB’s portfolio exposure to client and guarantees.

    Reporting to: Assistant Manager, Credit Administration Unit

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    •  Monitor and analyze credit portfolio to assess credit quality and identify emerging risks.
    •  Review facility agreements and ensure compliance with covenants, credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    •  Provide necessary information to debt lenders and guarantee schemes, ensuring adherence to reporting requirements and established parameters.
    •  Conduct regular reviews of existing loans to identify early warning signals and potential defaults.
    •  Perform stress testing and scenario analysis to assess the impact of adverse economic conditions on credit portfolio.
    •  Prepare reports and presentations summarizing credit risk trends, findings, and recommendations.
    •  Collaborate with Relationship Managers to address credit concerns and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
    •  Managing the assigned portfolio on an end-to-end basis i.e. working on annual reviews, complex transactions, and quarterlies.
    •  Responsible for assigning risk ratings based upon obligor’s financial strength, operating performance and market profile using qualitative and quantitative models and other non-conventional risk monitoring mechanisms.

    Qualification and Skills

    •  Masters/bachelor’s degree or equivalent 5-8 years of relevant banking/credit administration experience.
    •  Experience in monitoring and reporting, research, or credit analysis.
    •  Proven ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goals.
    •  Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with urgency.
    •  Proven organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
    •  Comprehensive knowledge of SAS or SQL programming and MS Office software.
